By age 14 he had won his first programming award, by 15 had started taking classes at Villanova University, by 16 had worked at the Fidia-Georgetown Institute for the Neurosciences at Georgetown University under Dr. Alessandro Guidotti, and he has never looked back.
While obtaining his degree in Molecular Biology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison he worked as a computer consultant for the same.
In an unusual move, the University hired him as full-time staff before he obtained his degree.
After working there for several years, helping to organize and engineer the roll-out of email and Internet access for 78,000 University students, staff, faculty, and affiliates, he left to start his own company, Clotho Interactive Media, with a friend an colleague in 1995.
By 1999, sold his shares in the company and he decided to move to the East Coast to the heart of the biotechnology and technology boom, where he founded Fariel Enterprises LLC & its consulting arm, Fariel Consulting LLC.
From early 1999 until mid 2003, he helped Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc manage, design and develop some of the most sophisticated informatics and bioinformatics systems in the world, and helped them meet FDA,EMEA and MHLW electrinic records and filing complaince. He has dealt extensively with companies in the life sciences, commercial enterprise and legal organizations.
Before joining Fariel Consulting LLC in 1999, Scott was an independent marketing consultant that advised businesses and non-profits on marketing strategies, ad campaigns, total image, public relations, and sales.
